Laurelee was a knowledgeable and friendly host! The farm is stunning. She has built a beautiful oasis for all these animals and you can tell how much she truly loves and cares about each and every animal. This was such a fun and unique experience. Got to hold cats, chickens, brush a tortoise and feed deer and goats! Would highly recommend this experience, especially those who also love animals.

Spent 4 days in Maui and this was by far my favorite part. Leilani’s farm is incredible, beautiful, and everything good in the world! Hoping to one day have her exact same set up! Must must must visit in Maui :)

We had such a wonderful experience at this animal sanctuary on Maui. Laurelee was incredibly kind and hospitable, even welcoming us to wander the beautiful property on our own before the tour began. When the rain rolled in, she thoughtfully offered ponchos so we could still enjoy everything comfortably. Hearing Laurelee’s story and how she came to create the sanctuary made the experience even more special. You can truly feel the love and care she has for every single animal. Being welcomed onto her property to spend time loving on the animals was such a unique and memorable experience. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Maui looking for something heartfelt, peaceful, and genuinely special.

The most incredible tour and experience we’ve ever done. From the moment we arrived, this place felt absolutely magical. Looking around and seeing animals so genuinely happy, free roaming, loved, and living their best lives was something really special. We loved getting to see and meet the tortoises, pigs, chickens, goats, sheep, deer, turkeys, geese, swans, cats, and so many more amazing animals. Every single one has their own rescue story and unique journey, which made the experience even more meaningful. You can truly see how loved and cared for they all are. One of the most inspiring parts was meeting Laurelee, the founder and host. Hearing her stories and learning about the incredible work she’s done to rescue and save each of these animals was unforgettable. Her passion and heart shine through in everything she does. You don’t just walk around and look at animals, you get the full experience. We got to pet, hold, and feed so many of them, making it feel incredibly personal!

We had the best experience! I loved how we got to interact up close and personal with the animals. It’s such a special experience to hear their stories and then see them safe and cared for. I will be back every chance I get.

My wife and I absolutely loved visiting the animal sanctuary. Each animal has a story and visiting them was our favorite stop on the road to Hāna.

We had the most beautiful time at the breathtaking, sweet Leilani Animal Farm Sanctuary. It was joyful, miraculous, magical, pure! Truly it’s been on my heart each day! Time truly is relative, because Laurelee and the animals felt like true friends and kindred hearts instantly. And seeing them in such harmony, full of love, together and with us, is indescribable. And we have such gratitude for the immense work and dedication of Laurelee and her wonderful humans. They take such wonderful care of their oasis, and of us as humble, loving visitors. It’s also such a beautiful, eye-opening experience of education and interconnectedness between all living beings, us. And the chance to explore the gorgeous farm, play and cuddle with the animals, to feel like it’s your home from home, oh what a gem. Sending so much love to Laurelee, ‘the kiddos of the sanctuary’ and all kindred hearts!

We had a wonderful visit here today. Lauralee was a great guide & shared her beautiful space & animals with our group. We had plenty of time & interactions with the goats, cats, pigs, guinea pigs, chickens, roosters & guinea pigs. She helped us to know them as individuals where we saw their little & big personalities. For instance, Matthew, the turkey, is super cuddly & likes hugs. Henry, the tuxedo cat, also likes to be carried. The property is lovely, a true paradise with blooming plants. She takes volunteers on some days each week, but the admission fee was well worth the time & the cause. This is a great spot for all ages to visit. We stopped at Paia on the way there & back too, so pick up a snack or some kitschy or artsy store time on the way.

The first word that comes to mind is magical. This is a place for rescued farm (mostly) animals who have been abused in another life. Here they will only know love, safety, and kindness. There are lots of farm animals in addition to Guinea pigs and cats. It seems the only life mission of the cats is to greet and love the visitors. There are several large tortoises and they love to be brushed! I had no idea they have so much feeling in their shells. They will even fall asleep during brushing! The animals are very cuddly, and even the turkey loves to be held. This visit may be the highlight of my year, and I am fortunate to have many highlights. Laurelee is a treasure.

We didn’t know what to expect but we’re very pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome from Laurelee. She is the founder, and very passionate about her rescued animals, who she has all named. It is very hands on, you can brush the pigs, hold chickens, geese, all 42 cats. You also feed the free-range guinea pigs carrots, her two deer, and handle quite a few of the animals. It is a great experience for anyone but especially people who never lived near or on a farm. I loved how compassionate Laurelee was and how much she loved each and every one of her animals who are now living on 8 acres in their forever home. After the tour you are welcome to stay as long as you like and continue to enjoy her animals. An added bonus for plant lovers is the beautiful grounds with lots of flowers.
