Animals of Leilani Farm Sanctuary are in need of caring people like you to sponsor their monthly feed, shelter and care costs. Animals at Leilani Farm Sanctuary are available for sponsorship on a monthly or annual basis.
Annual sponsors receive a hand-made gift card and “Certificate of Adoption” with a picture of their adopted animal.

I want to make absolutely sure that this promise will be actualized in every way. I want to assure that the animals will be cared for after I’m gone–and that my legacy will live on. Our goal is to raise the $2 million that’s needed to actualize this Big Dream.
5. Disaster Preparedness

In the event of a large-scale disaster, an immense quantity of food would need to be harvested to to keep nearly three hundred animals well-fed and properly nourished. To be prepared, we must greatly expand our plantings as soon as possible.
Because all animal feed and hay are shipped in by barge from the Mainland, we must always be prepared for an emergency by growing food on the land.
To this end, Leilani Farm Sanctuary grows a variety of organic food crops for the animals, including, bananas, pineapples, Surinam cherries, mangos, papayas, jackfruit, breadfruit, mint, kale, starfruit, avocados, and collard greens.
We practice permaculture in which nutrient-rich water from the duck pond is used to irrigate the plants and trees. Composted manure mixed with straw cleaned out from the barns nourishes our gardens.
Your donation will enable us to plant additional crops.
