Few people would imagine turkeys to have such personality!

Visitors are in for a big surprise when they visit Leilani Farm Sanctuary and meet our gregarious turkeys.

As they arrive at the farm, visitors are greeted by Gregory and Matthew, two delightfully friendly turkeys who love hugs. These attention-seeking fellas proudly fan out their tail feathers and spin around, showing off in hopes of getting hugs.

Gregory and Matthew were lucky to have been saved from being butchered. But sadly, 223 million less fortunate turkeys are slaughtered for food each year — a large proportion for the November and December holiday season.

Our beloved turkeys are ambassadors who open people's hearts to a new and compassionate way of regarding them as friends, not food.
