Boris was part of a flock of eight ducks who narrowly escaped decapitation by an angry property owner whose tenant abandoned them without food and water.
Cassandra was left behind in a backyard without food or water.
Mee-mee was the only survivor of twelve ducklings. She was kept in a dark cage and developed rickets, but has made a full recovery.
Rafaela was rescued by a veterinarian who developed ALS disease and could no longer care for his ducks.
