Meet the Cats

Most of the Sanctuary cats were rescued from feral cat colonies, where they had been abandoned by humans. On the farm, the cats mingle harmoniously with all species of animals.

Cat Name


Allie was found in a field at three weeks of age and required bottle-feeding.


Annette was deemed “not adoptable” at the humane society because she was so shy. She went to foster homes for socialization, but only hid. Now, at Leilani Farm Sanctuary, she is an exuberant, non-stop talking cat.


Bindy was kept in a cage and referred to as the Wicked Witch. In truth. Bindi is as sweet as pie.


Barbie was abandoned at a feral cat colony in Kahului. She is affectionate, playful, and loves attention.


Billy’s mother, Clarissa, gave birth to her kittens in a wrecked car. Now, Billy and his brother Henry will always be together with their mom at the Sanctuary.


Calvin and his sister were rescued after being abandoned in a sugarcane field. These kittens are now so happy that merely speaking to them makes them purr.

Etti Lea is a sweet and tame cat who was dumped at a feral colony.

Reuben is a shy cat who was dumped at a feral cat colony.


Bobby was rescued at five weeks of age and then spent a week in veterinary intensive care for coccidiosis. He is now healthy and thriving.


Roland was a tiny kitten when someone abandoned in the Sanctuary driveway.


Jazz was abandoned on the driveway, climbed into the engine compartment of a car, and went for a ride to a nearby town. Fortunately, he survived and is doing well. Jazz loves to lounge on the couch and kitchen countertop.


Tabitha arrived as an undernourished kitten in need of special care.
