Alex was entangled in a rancher’s fence, and nearly starved to death, before being rushed to Leilani Farm Sanctuary.
Annie’s mother was pregnant when brought to the sanctuary. She gave birth to Annie and the two of them have a lasting bond.
Anthony was discarded by a dairy farmer.

Carolyn was orphaned when her mother was shot by hunters.
Ella was dropped off as a newborn kid after hunters killed her mother.
Freddy’s mother was killed by hunters. He came to the sanctuary as 1-day old kid with his umbilical cord still wet.
Jackie’s mother was pregnant when brought to the sanctuary. She gave birth to Jackie and the two of them are never far apart.
Jemima had to leave her farm when her caretaker became ill.
Jerome was brought to the sanctuary after hunting dogs killed his mother.
Jill and her brother Jack became orphans when their mother was killed by hunters. Before coming to the sanctuary, the siblings mated and produced a daughter named Jackie who stays close to her mom.
Johnny was a newborn goat when his mother stopped nursing him. The goat rancher brought him to the sanctuary instead of having him slaughtered.
Kelli Rae was starving when she came to the Sanctuary as a newborn goat. Hunters killed and ate her mother.
Nancy lost her mother to hunters and her twin brother to hunting dogs.
Nelly Mae became an orphan when hunters killed her mother. She was rescued by tourists and reunited with her twin sister Kelly Rae two weeks later.
